was messing around with a shading style so that the black and white pages look less bland. I kind of like it, except for Karkat. It was supposed to explain vision-ally that he has really dark skin, but it just looks like I puked all over him, which I did.

Will work on that in the future with dark skinned characters. :\

For me, coloring takes up too much of my time, especially when I’m busy, and puts the story off a bit. Plus, I have some projects I wanna do that require my markers, and I don’t want to be spending a million dollars on coloring tools, because I’m saving money up for comic con in March.

So, from here on out, every page will be just in black and white. The only exception, is when I start off a new Arc, and when I introduce a new character.

((Given the chance this may not be Kris, I would just like to point out that calling a fellow artist ‘not all that great’, or their style ‘sucky’ in anyway at all is just completely rude and uncalled for. You have no right to judge other people based on the way that they draw.

And most of the drawings of his OC are done by me, and it was my choice completely to insert his OC in the first place. If you don’t like seeing the characters actually interacting with other people than themselves, then you can just unfollow the blog.

I’m not going to stop you, and you sure can’t stop me from doing whatever I want with my comic.

Faye and Gamzee again because fuck the po-lice. This is when they were teens, being derps and ‘running away’ for like half a day up in the peaceful little hilly areas. By night time they’d peter out and go back home because cold, and nobody would have noticed they were gone the entire time.

Years later, Faye eventually bestows unto Tavros the Blanket and Basket Of Picnicity so that he may go out on marvelous adventures up to the hills and hang out with his friends for half a day before they all get cold and go home.

Eridan is the creepy guy who lives down the street from Tavros and Gamzee. He appears on Gamzee’s doorstep at 3 AM sometimes, naked as a blue jay, and yelling for Tav to come down and “BE MY SWWEETHEART FROM THE GROUND UP”.

His eyes are actually brown but he wears blue contacts because fuck the police, and he has a bent duck.

He is a Virgin with rage and is hellbent on getting some China before the year’s end.
